After studying at Pratt Institute New York and receiving a Bachelorʻs of Fine Arts degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Susan enjoyed 30 years in a beautiful career painting ceramic tiles with glaze. She completed many  commissioned murals, interior and exterior, including commercial projects for hotels and restaurants. Her works are still visible in their original splendor in many parts of the country.

In 2008 she took an oil painting class and was hooked. Susan has a deep passion for the landscape and the natural world and is an avid outdoor enthusiast.

All of Susanʻs work is done en plein air. Each painting has a story to tell. When she is not painting she devotes her time to land conservation. She is happiest in the elements struggling to capture a fleeting moment of bliss.
