With an organic, artistic style, Karen Ehart uses a soothing tonal palette of colors to make her glass collection inspired by nature: sea life, splashing water, banana leaves, and a rock-filled stream bed. The many places she has lived, from the tropics to the desert, have influenced the evolution of her work.
Karen Ehart's work has a unique sculptural quality and surface design. She loves creating new original sculptural designs. Each piece is individually handcrafted by the artist.
Karen Ehart was raised in a very creative family with diverse skills where craftsmanship was valued and encouraged. She has experimented with glass continuously, working for major studios while developing her own technique and design style.
