Our Heritage Coasters are made with Koa wood from the Island of Hawaii. Each Koa Heritage piece is engraved with different traditional Hawaiian imagery. These coasters speak of customs, culture, and aloha.
All of our Koa coasters and trivets are made with Koa wood panels on front and back, over a hardboard underlay. We have specifically engineered our coasters and trivets with this process in order to stabilize the wood during use. Without the hardboard underlay, the coaster or trivet would be prone to cracking and chipping.
