This unique Koa Wood Coaster features a view of Diamond Head crater from the patio of the the "world famous" Mai Tai bar. Legend has it the the original Mai Tai was invented right here at Mai Tai bar, Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
Our Modern Coasters are made with Koa wood grown harvested from the Island of Hawaii. Each Koa coaster is engraved with different Modern Hawaiian imagery that celebrates the islands of today. These contemporary images are fun and friendly for all who love Hawaii.
All of our Koa coasters and trivets are made with Koa wood panels on front and back, over a hardboard underlay. We have specifically engineered our coasters and trivets with this process in order to stabilize the wood during use. Without the hardboard underlay, the coaster or trivet would be prone to cracking and chipping.
